What was the society's first mural?

Lompoc’s first mural was the “Lompoc Flower Industry.” The mural was painted in 1989 and is located at 102 West Ocean Avenue.

How often does the Mural Society meet?

The Mural Society meets every fourth Thursday of the month. Meeting schedule is subject to change during the holidays.

How much does it cost to have a mural painted?

The average cost for the Lompoc Mural Society to have a mural painted is between $10,000 and $40,000 depending on the size and complexity of the work. Final costs include funds set aside for mural maintenance and restoration.

I have an idea for a mural, how can I paint my mural through the Mural Society?

Artists are asked to bid on a mural job and present a design concept to the mural society. The bids and sketches are reviewed and selected through a formal process by the Society.
