Welcome to the Lompoc Mural Society

Celebrating 25 years of Big Art in the Valley

Nestled in the Lompoc Valley among the Santa Rita Hills, tourists come year round from all over the world to view Lompoc’s Big Art murals and Art Alley. The Lompoc Mural Project was conceived in 1988. The first mural was painted in 1989 by Santa Monica artist, Art Mortimer and featured the valley’s “Flower Industry”. Today, Lompoc has 30+ major commissioned murals in it’s inventory.

The Lompoc Mural Society is a non-profit, all volunteer organization. Membership is open to the public with volunteers always welcome. Murals are funded by donations and the ever giving support of the citizens’ of Lompoc Valley.
